A Failed Trick

Around few rising bubbles
A pair of fish whirls
They see everything
With their big unblinking eyes
But I am suspicious
Are they aware of their containment,
Or they are tricking me?
Mocking me with pseudo unawareness?
Because at a single touch
on the glass
They rush towards the spherical corners
And disappear for a moment
Then a moment longer.
And now only the rising bubbles,
Make the scene inside
How do they know this trickery?
Did somebody teach them?
I sat there, longer
And waited.
But they hid themselves
In an oblivion inside
Why they did this?
Was it,
Just like they disappeared for me
I disappeared for them?
